Tension rod construction for extra strength and stability. UV bonded aluminium disks on the underside of the top shelf allow for the tension rod construction method, and also give the TV stand a flush top shelf with no screw heads protruding. The assembly time of the flat pack unit is about 10 minutes therefore always a very popular selling TV stand.

The glass is tempered safety glass, designed to be extremely strong but to shatter into small safe pieces if the glass is accidentally broken. Tempered glass is to BS6206 to ensure consumer safety. The top shelf is 8mm thick and is rated to hold 80kg, therefore this TV unit could hold any television up to 80kg.The lower shelves are 5mm and are rated to hold 30kg.
