Safe & Secure
NETGEAR’s WG511 provides both WEP and WPA-PSK (WPA-PSK available via firmware upgrade) wireless encryption standards to protect your network from eavesdroppers and bandwidth pinchers. To be ultimately secure you can limit access from your wireless router to designated computers using their unique ID, called a MAC address.

The WG511 simply slides into the PCMCIA slot on the side or back of your laptop or notebook computer. Set-up is made quick and easy with NETGEAR’s Smart Wizard Install assistant: The WG511 selects the best available connection and adapts its settings to match.
