The MLC-based Z-Drive 4500 Series, based on Toshiba’s 19nm (nanometer) NAND, is an extension to OCZ’s popular Z-Drive R4 SSD Series. The series features a more robust architecture over its predecessor and supports 800GB, 1.6TB and 3.2TB usable capacities backed by a 5-year warranty. Utilizing OCZ’s proprietary Virtualized Controller Architecture (VCA) Technology, the new Z-Drive 4500 Series delivers industry-leading sustained performance for MLC-based PCIe edge cards so that users achieve fast file transfers, boot-ups and benefit from a more responsive storage experience.
