OCZ Force 2 CPU retention brackets will prevent warping of the motherboard that can lead to disjoining of VRM heatsinks and other integrated cooling solutions that would reduce the motherboard's power output and limit overclocking capability. Compatible with both LGA 775 and 1366 CPUs, the use of safe screw-mounting eliminates the problem of bent plastic pegs and risk of slip-and-damage to the motherboard, while facilitating mounting of heatsink. Force retention brackets also contribute to enhanced thermal dissipation in the back of the motherboard.
