The HT-S6500 is a feature-packed system that’s simple to install and operate. Connect a LAN cable—or optional Wireless LAN adapter—to access music on any PC connected to the network. Internet radio and music streaming from Spotify and MP3tunes are all a few button presses away, with audio delivered through the receiver’s WRAT amplifier and quality two-way speakers. A frontside USB port, meanwhile, connects your iPod®, iPhone®, or music-filled flash-memory device. A total of seven HDMI® ports integrate all your high-definition components, and enable Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio™, 3D video, and an ARC for TV audio through the home theater. You can also switch HDMI inputs easily, with InstaPrevue™ technology providing video thumbnails of available content instead of just a port number. The user-friendly GUI has overlaid setup menus for fast in-program adjustment, and you can control the system using an iPod touch/iPhone or Android phone.Calibrated by Audyssey’s 2EQ® room acoustic correction system, the gloss-finished speakers deliver clear, well-balanced sound, while the active subwoofer adds powerful low-frequency impact.
