A very popular single speaker for home theaters and whole house audio, ICE640TT in-ceiling speaker includes a 6 1/2" polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround, dual 3/4" silk dome tweeters for smooth vocals, and 150W power handling. This single in-ceiling speaker uses dual 16 ohm voice coils and includes a switch for 16 ohm stereo operation or 8 ohm mono bridged setup.

The beauty of the DVC design is that it allows you to connect both a left and right stereo signal. This makes it an excellent choice for locations with room for only a single speaker (i.e., bathrooms, narrow hallways or even a walk-in closet). Once both voice coils are connected, the stereo signal is summed into a single mono stereo full range output. In addition, dual tweeters doubles the dispersion pattern of the high frequencies, creating a broader 360-degree sound field. Add this to the overall sound quality of the Kevlar Woofer and you have one heck of a great sounding speaker!
