HIGH PERFORMANCE SINGLE STEREO
The MK690TT Dual Voice Coil Trimless Thin Bezel, Dual Application Speaker is ideal for applications calling for a single stereo speaker that connects to both right and left stereo signals from your source. The MK690TT is perfect for small spaces, such as hallways or walk-in master bedroom closets, and combines the right and left stereo input into a summed mono stereo full range output. The Dual 1” Pivoting Aluminum Dome Tweeters provide double the dispersion pattern for a broader listening area underneath the speaker itself. The speaker also features our special 6.5-inch mid bass driver that includes the MK Series Kevlar Cone material and the custom crossover needed to produce the audiophile sound quality found in all our MK Spitfire Series products. Adds less visual impact on your architectural audio installation.
Dual Tweeters
The Dual Tweeters of the MK690TT double the sound field in both the Single Stereo Summed Mono setting (8 ohms setting) or when utilized as a stereo pair (4 ohm setting).
Dual Applications!
Our clever engineers added a 4 or 8 ohm switch so the speaker to be converted to a single mono speaker and combined with a second ACEMK690TT. Now you have a stereo pair of speakers where only one of the voice coils is connected on each speaker. This setup dramatically increases coverage in your zone because the dual tweeters are active and provide additional dispersion of high frequencies for the pair. The switch is set to 8 ohm when connecting both voice coils in the single speaker application and set to 4 ohm when used as stereo pair with just one voice coil connected.
