PS10 10" High Powered Premium Home Theater Subwoofer
OSD Audio offers several models of free-standing powered subwoofers available in different sizes to fit any home theater or media room environment. For small to medium size rooms or home theaters, the PS10 includes a 10-inch woofer, speaker level inputs, and plenty of power for earth-shaking bass notes.
What Are the Benefits of A Front-Firing Subwoofer?
Like its bigger brother the PS12, the PS10 is a front-firing subwoofer. Both are the perfect complement to our down firing series subwoofers so we can give customers a sub solution for any home theater application.
Front-firing subs tend to cost a little more because they provide a lower frequency range (25 Hz to 180 Hz) than down-firing subs (50 Hz to 250 Hz). Of course, this will demand more output power while utilizing upgraded components including a longer throw 10 or 12 inch woofer. OSD Audio also designed the cabinet to have both a front-firing woofer and dual front firing ports, which allow the woofer to be built into a custom cabinet. The design also allows placement either close to a wall or even tucked back into a corner.
