131508 - Thera R95 Red 100W - short-wave Infrared lamp, E27, 100W, 230V, 600h THERATHERM lamps are special short-wave Infrared lamps (IR-A) for use in body care and wellness applications. These lamps have a maximum radiation at a wavelength of abut 1100nm. The lamps instantly emit their full thermal output as soon as they are switched on. Their pigmented red filter gives the lamp a pleasant and even glow.

In conjunction with an internal parabolic reflector which bundles the infrared energy into a high-intensity beam, these heat lamps produce a strong deep-acting effect. Provided the lamp is placed at least 50 cm away there is little or no risk of local overheating.

THERATHERM lamps are used for cosmetic beauty treatment. They are also used as heat sources over relaxation zones in swimming pools and saunas to promote relaxation and well-being.
