Mini DV Camcorder NV-GS230EG-S
3CCD MiniDV Camcorder with 2.3MP Still Picture
The Panasonic NV-GS230 records directly onto affordable, popular and easy to use MiniDV tapes.
To ensure the best possible picture quality, the NV-GS230 is equipped with 3CCD camera system technology and Crystal Engine processing. Most professional broadcast cameras use 3CCD technology to ensure superior colour reproduction, detail and gradation. The NV-GS230 uses the same advanced 3CCD technology to give you the same professional quality.
The Crystal Engine is a special image processing circuit for 3CCD camera systems. It processes the R, G and B signals from the three CCDs individually, so it gives both moving and still pictures exceptional quality. This innovative engine also achieves truly superb colour reproduction for high-zoomed pictures.
The NV-GS230 comes with easy to see - even when outdoors - Power LCD function. Simply press the Power LCD button and the LCD becomes brighter, making it easier to see outdoors or in other bright locations. Also, a new scanning technology allows the LCD to show diagonal lines more sharply.
The NV-GS230 is also equipped with One-Touch Navigation for easy, intuitive setting and shooting without having to taking your eyes off the subject. Just press the centre of the joystick to display an operating menu. The operations you use most often are right on the monitor, so it's easy to change settings or operate the camera without looking away from your subject.
