PLANET Fast Ethernet Switch FSD-803 provides business and home users a cost-effective integrated system of small-office / home-office networking. It is with compact-sized metal design and just right for the network of 10 to 50 users.
The FSD-803 is a highly reliable network switch ideal for bridging Ethernet to Fast Ethernet workgroups or networks. It has 2K MAC Address table and provides 448K bits buffer memory. The wire-speed packets transfer capability is provided to avoid packet loss. All RJ-45 copper interfaces in the FSD-803 support 10/100Mbps Auto-Negotiation for optimal speed detection through RJ-45 Category 5 or 5e cables. It also supports Auto-MDI/MDI-X that can detect the type of connection to any Ethernet device without requiring special straight or crossover cables. Furthermore, the Flow Control function by the FSD-803 supports routers and Servers to directly connect to it for fast and reliable data transfer.
To segment the network and ease the network traffic, the 8-Port 10/100Mbps Switch is the ideal backbone for SOHO switched networks. Moreover, for simple troubleshooting, the FSD-803 provides array LED indicators so the network status can be monitored at a glance.
