PLANET VIP-EXT-26 voice line expansion module is designed to work with the enterprise IP phones, the VIP-2020PT and VIP-5060PT in enhancing the flexibility of VoIP system. The VIP-EXT-26, featuring 26 fully programmable buttons with dual-color LEDs, is controlled by the IP Phone via RJ-11 cable. These function keys support Auto Redial On/Off, Call Back/Forward, Do Not Disturb (DND), Flash, Headset, History, Hold, Join, Lock, Memo, Message Waiting Indicator (MWI), Phonebook, Pickup, Prefix and Redial. The VIP-EXT-26 creates up to 130 programmable extensions when 5 expansion modules are daisy chained with the enterprise IP phone.
Integrated with PLANET advanced enterprise IP phone, the VIP-EXT-26 is perfect for receptionists, call center agents, administrative assistants, executives and power users who need to monitor and manage a large volume of calls on a regular basis.
The VIP-EXT-26 supports Busy Lamp Field (BLF) function that, via the lights on the phone, enables users to easily identify the status of other phones which are connected to the same IP PBX, such as busy, idle, ringing, etc. The connected IP PBX must also support BLF feature. The BLF function is helpful for a receptionist on the front desk to route all incoming calls smoothly.
