It offers a 2.8'' touchscreen display for easy and simple operation. The scanner can be operated with a lithium-ion battery or via the AC adapter. You can view the digitised images directly on the display and store the data to an SD/SDHC card. The data are transferred from the SD/SDHC card to the PC via the delivered USB cable. The included software is a mere image editing program.
