Useful in high contrast or backlight scene. Automatically lightens the dark areas within a scene whilst maintaining the brighter areas at the same level. This ensures that the dark areas become more viewable allowing the operator to view objects in the shadows.

The 3rd generation of SSNR can be used in low light condition to enhance the image quality. This technology eliminates image noise in low light conditions without creating image blur or ghosting.

<b>HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface)</b>
Not like previously SDE series (ex. SDE-5001N), the new SDH series equipped with HDMI to display high digital quality images on your existing monitor or LCD/LED TV. By using this input, you can pass digital video and audio signal from Samsung DVR to your monitor (needed to be equipped with speaker) and LCD/LED TV to hear or observe your stored footage.
<b>VGA (Video Graphics Array)</b>
The standard analogue output for all Samsung security system including SDR-4200 DVR. In order to maxmize your display capability with VGA, we highly recommend to use 15-pin VGA cable rather than 12-pin VGA cable (due to compatibility issue).
