Breaking of the croquettes leads to scraping of the surface of the teeth, causing a mechanical cleaning effect.

This is supported by contained structured plant fibers (crude fibers), which prevents the early fragmentation of the croquettes.

The contained vitamins (e.g. vitamin A) have a positive effect on the oral mucosa and the phosphorus can bind the calciumiones which could have a negative effect on the teeth surface (e.g. plaque).
