42LM5WPTC - 42", IP66, 1366 x 768 The 42LM5WPTC delivers all of the usual Weatherproof performance benefits, as well as professional grade connectivity including VGA, RGBHV input and output, and full RS232 control. In addition, the 42LM5WPTC offers an embedded Touchscreen to enable user interaction with the display. Operating through projected capacitance, the Touchscreen film is fitted to the inside of the anti-reflective tempered glass, protecting the touchscreen from damage while facilitating user interaction even with a gloved hand. The touch panel can be calibrated externally for sensitivity, but is not triggered by environmental conditions such as rain or snow, making the display ideal for use as part of on outdoor signage/ information system. Alternatively, the display could be used internally in a hostile interactive environment including kitchens, warehousing or production facilities where exposure to contaminants would render a standard interactive display redundant within a short period.
