Our original algorithm uses three pixel-interpolation filters to convert the CCD's 4.0 effective megapixels to the recorded equivalent of about 8 megapixels.

As well as being able to print out a detailed image very clearly, even on A3-size paper, you can also enlarge part of an image without sacrificing image fidelity.

The Xacti S4 shoots video clips, 320 x 240 or 160 x 120 resolution at 15 frames per second for natural-looking motion. The moving pictures are recorded in the QuickTime Movie (Photo-JPEG) format for easy editing.

Simply connect the Xacti S4 to a PictBridge compatible printer and you can print photographs without using a computer.

Connect the Xacti S4 to your PC using the USB cable provided, and you can access your memory card as a removable disk on the PC.
