With the WLE-1100 Home Energy Monitor Extension Kit you can extend your existing Home Energy Monitor network and add three new SmartPlugs to monitor and control three extra appliances in your household.
Monitor the energy consumption
Now you can find out easily which one of your devices is wasting energy in your house. Using the three included SmartPlugs you can collect enough evidence to know which devices need to be replaced or turned off more often such as an old refrigerator or a TV in standby mode.
Control and program devices
With the SmartPlugs you can also control your connected devices remotely and even program a schedule. This can all be done from your Smartphone, tablet or any computer with Internet access. You forgot to turn the coffee machine off? No problem, turn it off where ever you are. You are going on vacation? Simply set a schedule for the lights in your house and people won’t notice your family is not at home.
EnergyInsight app for Smartphones and tablets
The EnergyInsight app is available for iPhones and Android phones and can be downloaded for free. With the free version of the app you can see how much electricity and gas your whole household is using, compare it to other households and set targets to save energy. You can also monitor your connected devices in real-time when you are at home. Moreover you can turn devices on and off remotely and set schedules.
