Use the PEG1 card to get an immediate performance increase on large transfers with jumbo frames or to add another network connection to your system. The PEG1 Gigabit Ethernet port will support Mac OS X's or later built-in link aggregation software in combination with the internal Gigabit Ethernet ports of the system. The PEG1 card will transparently load balance among all linked Ethernet ports, and seamlessly fail over if one or more ports or cables become disabled. Must be using OS X 10.6.8 or later.
