Intel based GbE PCI-Express Single Port Optical Gigabit Ethernet Server Adapter PEG1F The Small Tree PEG1F card provides a single optical Gigabit Ethernet port allowing you to connect to optical networks from your Intel Mac system. The PEG1F card supports jumbo frames which provides an immediate performance increase on large transfers. The PEG1F Gigabit Ethernet port will support Mac OS X's built in link aggregation in combination with the internal Gigabit Ethernet ports of the system. The PEG1F will operate transparently with non optical Gigabit Ethernet ports ensuring that no application changes are required. The optical output of the PXG1F will support standard Gigabit Ethernet connections of up to 550 meters. Must be using OS X 10.6.8 or later.
