The Barricade™ g 802.11g 108Mbps Wireless Cable/DSL Broadband Router is the perfect networking solution for the user that is looking for a simple, all-in-one home or small office network product. This platform independent multi-functional router combines a 4-port 10/100 Mbps dual-speed switch with Automatic MDI-MDIX feature, a high speed 108Mbps wireless access point, Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall security, Web-based network management, and support for Virtual Private Network (VPN) pass-through into one convenient device. For wireless connectivity, the SMCWBR14T-G offers up to 108Mbps high-speed wireless connection and is backward compatible with existing 802.11b network devices. To secure this wireless connection, the Barricade g supports 802.1x for authentication, Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), MAC address filtering and 64/128-bit Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP). In addition, the Barricade g has one detachable antenna that can be replaced with your choice of SMC high gain antennas for added performance and coverage.

The EZ Connect™ g 802.11g 108Mbps Wireless Cardbus Adapter enables you to connect to 802.11g or 802.11b wireless networks at home, at the office or at public hotspots. The SMCWCBT-G provides the speed, coverage, and security expected by today's wireless users when they communicate, download or upload large files, stream audio, video or use other bandwidth-intensive applications. The SMCWCBT-G is based on an advanced Atheros Super G chipset that is compliant with the IEEE 802.11g standard and certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance. This 108Mbps Wireless Cardbus Adapter when used in its turbo mode with a compatible 108Mbps router or access point, is 15 times faster than older 802.11b wireless networking devices and yet is 100% backwards compatible with them. The SMCWCBT-G significantly increases the performance of mixed-mode (802.11b and 802.11g) networks and in 802.11g-only networks - provides up to 3x more throughputs and up to 50% throughput.
