EliteConnect Universal 2.4GHz/5GHz Wireless Access Point
The SMC2555W-AG Universal 2.4GHz/5GHz Wireless Access Point is a tri-mode Access Point that provides the most expanded user bandwidth available. Up to 64 wireless clients can connect to the SMC2555W-AG to transfer data at speeds up to 15 times faster than previous wireless devices. The SMC2555W operates seamlessly in the 5 GHz and2.4GHz frequency spectrums, supporting the 802.11b and the newer, faster 802.11g and 802.11a wireless standards. For security, the Access Point supports enterprise-level advanced authentication and encryption, including Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), up to 152-bit WEP encryption, 802.1x authentication access control with key rotation (MD5, EAP-TLS per user per session key, EAP-TTLS per user per session key, session key and broadcast key rotation, and PEAP). For offices, schools, or public hotspots that already use 802.11b devices, the SMC2555W-AG is a great way to expand existing networks and enable more users to communicate with one another to access data and share an Internet connection.
