-AccuCORE technology is the latest development in DVD media, delivering enhanced recording precision and playing choices. As the world leader in optical technology, Sony has developed and optimized optical formats. With AccuCORE, the standard of quality is again raised thanks to its optical organic dye and improved molding and bonding process.
-High-speed recordable discs generally have strong signal intensities for corresponding speeds. However, when recording at other speeds, compatibility can be lost and recording may become unstable. AccuCORE discs maintain constant signal intensity, realizing stable recording and playback on different types of equipment at low to high speeds.
-Although discs may appear flat, they contain ripples that cause vibration during spin. Sony has introduced a high-precision disc-molding technology for more accurate flatness, significantly reducing disc error. AccuCORE Recordable Media are created using this technology, making thin disc substrates flat and bonding them uniformly.
Changes in temperature can affect discs, recorders and drivers while causing recording errors. As the external temperature rises or fluctuates, the error rate of regular discs increases with it. Sony has adopted dye and phase change recording materials to protect against this. AccuCORE discs provide stable recording thanks to the low error rate cause by external temperatures.
-The picture quality of a recorded disc stored for a long time can deteriorate as its error rate increases. In some cases, the disc may become unplayable due to image fluctuations or “jitters”. Sony’s AccuCORE discs guarantee stable playback without image distortion or jitters while maintaining a low error rate even after long periods of storage.
