The aluminum omni-directional heat-sink with copper base core enables rapid heat transfer from the cpu heat source to the ambient case environment. The heat-sink is equipped with a round 90mm by 25mm dc fan spinning at a low 2000 RPM which makes this cpu cooler pretty silent.

Installation is straight forward and secure due to the pre-installed 4 mounting screws. Thermal interface material is included which is easily applied and fosters better contact between de cpu heat-spreader and copper heat-sink base.
