Data Express® DE50 2.5" Ultra ATA/100 Carrier, Black The Data Express® DE50 is a durable, mobile drive enclosure for internally mounting a 2.5 inch form factor Parallel ATA (PATA, or IDE) or Serial ATA II (SATAII) 3Gbps drives into a half-height, 3.5 or 5.25 inch peripheral bay. The DE50 supports SATAII or Ultra ATA/100 and is downward-compatible with earlier-technology (66MByte/sec or 33MByte/sec) drives. DE50 USB models additionally support drive hot swapping.
