Mobile Storage Card SD 1GB Swissbit’s Industrial Grade Secure Digital (SD) cards are specifically designed, manufactured, and tested to withstand extreme environmental conditions. The use of signal level cell flash combined with a 32bit RISC controller provides a number of enhanced product features such as builtin error correction, bad block management, advanced wear leveling algorithms, power loss protection, and power saving modes. Special attention is dedicated to the mechanical stability and enhanced ESD protection. A reliable ABC/PC housing, with special connector support, provides resistance against bending and torque. Furthermore, the gold plated connectors will last a minimum of 10,000 insertions. As an optional feature, Swissbit SD cards have an internal write protect as well as a read lock/unlock feature that is in compliance with the latest SD specifications. Additionally, these cards support the CPRM protocol to protect the copyrighted data recorded on the SD card from unauthorized use.
