USB Station 2 is ready to use right out of the box by simply plugging in any USB storage device. The built-in File Browser in Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) allows you to start sharing multimedia with family members or group projects with colleagues right away, with the ease of file navigation through a web browser. Sharing files among Windows, Mac, and Linux users highly increases the work efficiency in a platformmixed environment. USB Station 2 is completely fan-less with only 5W in operation. Not only does it reduce your carbon footprint, but it also helps create a noiseless home or working environment.
Your Own Entertainment Center
Download Station functions as a 24x7 TorrentTM, FTP, HTTP, eMule, and NZB download center without a PC. The eMule download engine allows search-n-download capability with a web-browser without installing additional desktop applications.
Audio Station supports music, Internet radio stations, and iPod playback with the optional speakers. An optional direction-free Synology Remote allows you to freely enjoy your music. Streaming mode allows your music to be shared with multiple users over the Intranet or Internet.
DS audio allows you to stream music stored on DiskStation to your iPhone, iPod touch or Android phone wherever Internet access is available. You can enjoy terabytes of music anytime anywhere.
