TGNet Single Port Euro Matrix/IPDS
Offers the best and most sophisticated IPDS and LAN connectivity available today
When installing the print server, just switch on the power and the basic
installation manual is printed automatically: its what we call ‘Plug and Print’. Remote access is via a web browser to individual unit, or to multiple devices via TGNet Admin, HP Jet Direct or PrintGuide configuration and management tools. Features such as multiple tractors, sheet feeders and predefined strings are accessible from the host application.
The TGNet IPDS matrix is a superbly featured device specifically designed for connecting printers to IBM systems AS400/iSeries and mainframes. It provides full support for IBM AFP (Advanced Function Printing), for producing text, fonts, barcodes, bit graphics, rasterised vector graphics and forms to your matrix printer. It’s also suitable for a mixed environment of IBM/Unix/Windows TCP/IP.
Monitoring of the print server is accomplished remotely from a PC
workstation, either via a web browser. TGNetAdmin, is available free
of charge from TallyGenicom and facilitates monitoring of multiple IP
devices simultaneously from one workstation.
The print server can also e-mail support staff of errors or changes to
the status of products, minimising downtime.
