V42MMFJ-ETB - 42" LCD-TV 1920 x 1080, FullHD, 16:9, 6000:1 Large-format LCD televisions with full HD quality are one of the hot topics for the fall / winter business in 2007. And now Tatung – Tawain's Number One consumer electronics brand and one of the world's leading LCD TV OEM manufacturers for numerous top brands – is unveiling
a brand new 42" full HD system to the public for the first time.
The Tatung V42MMFJ Full-HD series (optionally with or without an integrated DVB-T receiver) uses technology that incorporates motion compensation and motion estimation in the shape of the patented Micronas truD®HD technology - currently the most modern chip and software solutions available. This means that even on large-format TVs, juddering and blurriness - particularly caused by fast-moving images - are a thing of the past. Optimum motion blur removal and motion judder removal results are achieved. Razor-sharp high-contrast images in full 1,920 x 1,080 high-definition resolution (1080p) – extremely stable and lifelike, thanks also to other innovative technologies. With an excellent contrast ratio of 1.500:1 (DCR: 6.000:1), a fast reaction time of only 6,5ms and a screen brightness of 500 cd/m², the most exacting fidelity demands are met in these respects too.
With two HDMI connections, two SCART connections, S-Video and S/PDIF, the Tatung V42MMFJ has a wide variety of connection possibilities that will be good for the future. The Teletext memory covers 1,000 pages and the capacity of the audio output is 2 x 15 Watts. The picture angle is 176°. The new Tatung full-HD system V42MMFJ is now being officially unveiled to the public for the first time. As the V42MMFJ-ETB, its is also equipped with a DVB-T receiver with a CI slot for encrypted pay-TV programs and the possibility of updating software via an antenna.
Both units, which will be available in black as from November 2007, utilize the currently most advanced Micronas technologies and are in no way inferior to popular brand appliances in terms of their performance.
