Team Group is devoted to improve the technology of the solid state drive (SSD) for it’s super speed and reliability. The newly launched S25AS1 SSD product is a co-development with the SSD pioneer and SandForce, a breakthrough in SSD controller design. The S25AS1 model employs the SandForce SF-1222 controller chip to optimize the flash memory access cycles by the exclusive SSD DuraWrite technique. This improves the durability of flash memory by 80 times, when comparing with normal chips such that the life cycles of storage chips can be enhanced. By supporting the Redundant Array of Independent Silicon Elements (RAISE) technique the new SSD’s reliability and durability are both enhanced by its single-driver RAID data protection, error and loss of balance correction.
The S25AS1 SSD breaks the writing speed limit for flash memory with consecutive read speeds up to 280MB/s. It pushes the transmission speed to the limit by 4K random file at more than 30000/10000 IOPS. With the S25AS1 SSD’s advanced flash memory storage durability, reliability and data retention capability, users can enjoy not only unprecedented transmission speed, but also the reliability of conventional data storage.
