With its new "TechniLine" series, TechniSat has expanded and continued its successful LCD TV concept featuring an integrated multi-tuner for reception of all transmission paths (DVB-S2, DVB-C, DVB-T). The new TechniLine 32 HD complements the TechniSat portfolio of high-quality IDTVs made in Germany. This model features a new compact design, and provides unbeatable value for money.

Integrated HDTV multituner
The new 32 inch Full HD IDTV TechniLine 32 HD comes equipped with an integrated HDTV multituner as a standard feature, enabling it to receive digital TV and radio programmes via satellite, cable and terrestrial broadcasts (DVB-T), directly and without any need for additional equipment. In addition, reception of analogue programmes is possible via antenna and cable. The two Common Interface (CI) slots ensure the TechniLine 32 HD is optimally equipped for the reception of Pay-TV broadcasts.

New design
The new design of the TechniLine 32 HD is impressive. With this new series, TechniSat has committed to a totally new design concept, allowing engineers to achieve more compact dimensions and a lighter weight, without in any way compromising on technical features. The new series can be recognised by an illuminated LED ring located below the screen.

Maximum digital technology
The TechniLine 32 HD provides impressive features, making it one of the most versatile products in its class. A whole multitude of digital media formats can be reproduced from USB sticks or external hard drives connected to the device. This includes not only digital images and music, but also a whole range of commonly used video formats, such as files in MPEG2 format or VOB videos, such as are used on DVDs. Even secure TS files from TechniSat hard drive receivers (MPEG2 and MPEG4) can be viewed on the TechniLine 32 HD when played via a USB stick ? this is a real multimedia centre with a range of functions not often found even in products in much higher price ranges.

Open for all possibilities also ideal when used as a monitor
The wide range of connections provided with the TechniLine 32 HD makes it possible to connect a wide range of different equipment. For instance, two HDMI interfaces enable to connect a Bluray player or a PC to the device. This ensures that the TechniLine 32 HD can be used as an oversize monitor, with razor-sharp resolution, and easy on the eyes.

Facinating technology and a clever operating concept
Operating the TechniLine 32 HD is extremely efficient, and extremely simple. The tried and trusted value added services provided by TechniSat ensure intuitive operation, and particularly user-friendly operation. When operating the device for the first time, the TechniSat ?AutoInstall? installation assistant will guide the user through the start-up configuration. In addition, the user can define at what times the automatic software updates (free of charge, naturally) are to be downloaded to the device via the "TechniMatic" added value service. "EPG" is a digital programme guide available to the user, providing previews up to seven days in advance.

Energy savings
In addition to numerous technical features, the new models will also feature particularly impressive energy efficiency functions. For instance, the energy consumption of the TechniLine 32 HD in standby mode is less than 0.6 Watts and in normal operation less than 100 Watts.

HDTV Multituner
TVs with an integrated HDTV multi-tuner receive TV and radio channels via every transmission path - satellite (DVB-S), cable (DVB-C) and antenna (DVB-T) - without needing an extra receiver, even in new HDTV.

"SiehFern INFO" (SFI)
This free electronic programme information service (ePID) allows TechniSat to offer a free current and comprehensive overview of a large number of channels. The programme preview extends up to seven days, can be adapted to suit individual requirements and is available at any time. The SiehFern INFO can also be used easily to activate each timer - requiring just a push of a button on the remote control.

ISIPRO
The free TechniSat channel list manager does away with tedious manual channel scanning. When channels change frequency or switch on/off, this service provides an automatic way of updating the list of channels available. This process runs if you have agreed to updating. Customised lists are retained and amended where necessary.

TechniMatic
This free updating service from TechniSat keeps the software on your device up to date. As soon as enhancements or improvements to the operating software are available, the set carries out an automatic software update at the appropriate time (adjustable in the menu on the TV). This ensures a high level of future-security and a wider and improved range of functions.

AutoInstall
When using the TV for the first time you must create a few important settings (specifically adaptation to local conditions). Clear instructions from the installation wizard provided by TechniSat guide you through easy-to-understand dialogues, enabling you to carry out the required configuration easily and rapidly. Your TV will therefore be ready for use in a short time.

TechniFamily
TechniFamily can be used to set up password-protected user profiles. Customised access options and restrictions can be defined for each profile, e.g. for selected channels, daily television viewing times and a maximum duration of use. In this way parents can adjust viewing behaviour as appropriate for the child.

Full HD
Full HD means that an HDTV is able to show the highest HD resolution, (currently) 1920 x 1080 pixels. This corresponds to a picture containing over 2 million pixels. The high quality screens used by TechniSat display this resolution perfectly, so that, with this resolution capability, an exceptionally detailed and clear picture is achieved with spatial definition.

DVRready
Easily record your favourite films or music on an external storage medium. Use this option to archive data without loss or to play it back using the Timeshift function. In doing so, we recommend using the TechniSat Streamstore24 USB drive. You should check the compatibility of USB media from third-party manufacturers individually with your dealer to be sure of full functionality.

Timeshift
This very handy and popular type of recording enables you to start playing back while you are still recording. Hence recording and playback take place simultaneously. Recordings being played back can be stopped at any time and resumed again later. It is also possible to repeat favourite scenes and skip over unwanted sections. You can now set the start time and progress of a programme yourself.

2 x Common Interface (CI+)
This TV has two Common Interfaces (CI+). These are (common) interfaces used in combination with a CI+ module and corresponding SmartCard, to enable access to encrypted programming such as

Pay TV ready
This TV also enables you to receive encrypted channel content requiring payment (Pay TV). To receive Pay TV, you need a subscription to the relevant Pay TV provider.

Dolby Digital (AC-3)
This TV has optical and/or electrical connections for playing digital sound in Dolby Digital (AC-3).

HDMI 2x
Two high performance interfaces are provided especially for extremely fast digital transmission of high-resolution pictures and sophisticated sound without loss. Even complex picture content and fast-moving sequences are displayed in first-class quality. Besides their high performance capability, HDMI connections are distinguished by bidirectional data transmission.

USB HighSpeed
The USB HighSpeed interface enables simple connection and fast digital data transmission of up to 480 Mbit/s to various devices.

Editing function
Recorded programmes can be edited later via handy cutting and editing tools (e.g. to remove advertising slots).
