24-Port 10/100/1000 Uplink Switch
Purposely built for deploying a high performance Gigabit aggregation Ethernet, the TEG2124 comes with 24 RJ-45 ports with auto MDI/MDI-X crossover detection. Ports 23-24 can be bound together to form a logic link (aggregation) for doubled bandwidth and flexible redundancy. Switching capacity of up to 48Gbps delivers greater throughput and higher performance. Additionally, capable of handling jumbo frames, the TEG2124 offers surprisingly high reliability and cost effectiveness in deploying a high speed and stable Gigabit network, ideal for small and medium businesses use.
Gigabit Connectivity
24 Gigabit ports auto-sense straight-through or cross-over connection, half or full duplex mode, and make the right choice. Plus, switching capacity is up to 48Gbps.
Link Redundancy for Ensured Security
Redundancy can be achieved via hardware. Port 23 and port 24 are preset to one aggregation by default. Once connected to another aggregation switch, either port/link will backup the other. In case that either link encounters fault, the other will immediately take over all load to ensure that traffic previously handled by the fault link will be constantly handled instead of being discarded.
Link Aggregation for Increased Bandwidth
Aggregation can be achieved via device hardware. Simply bind two physical ports to form a single link for theoretically doubled bandwidth. Access layer switches and core switches that always have enormous amounts of data to handle are sure to find 1000Mbps hopelessly inadequate. Aggregating ports 23-24 readily solves this problem by delivering a combined bandwidth of 2000Mbps to meet the needs of a high speed network. So you don't need to invest huge amount of money in buying a high priced 10Ge core switch.
Auto-aggregation Requires No Configuration
Aggregation is implemented via hardware to free you from troublesome configurations. Simply ensure proper physical connections and aggregation can be created instantly.
