The W302R is an 802.11n compliant wireless router that delivers up to 8x faster wireless speeds while staying backward compatible with 802.11g devices. Utilizing advanced MIMO technology in the IEEE 802.11n standard, wireless signal range is double that of 802.11g products. Connect the W302R to a cable or DSL modem and create a secure wireless network for multiple users to access Internet simultaneously and share photos, files, music, videos wirelessly. In addition, your wireless data communication can be easily protected with WiFi Protected Setup. Just at a push of the WPS button, a secured and reliable connection is established. The W302R is a great choice for small or home offices in search of a fast, secure, easy-to-use, and feature-rich wireless network.
Equipped with 3 antennas and MIMO technology, users can create a high speed wireless network and up to 18X the speed and 6X the range of conventional 11g products. It shows more excellent abilities of mitigating data loss over long distances and through obstacles in a small office or a large apartment, even in a steel-and-concrete building.
The device is designed to function as a Client Router to support a WISP connection so that you can connect to your WISP for wireless Internet access.
To protect your wireless data communication and privacy, the W302R provides WPA/WPA2 encryptions (Both Personal and Enterprises) that are created by the WI-FI Alliance industry group, as WEP encryption has been no longer the strongest and safest guards for outside threats.
With QoS over IP address features, the W302R prioritizes optimal bandwidth down to a specific computer or device based on IP address. So, bandwidth-intensive tasks such as voice, video and data transmission can be conducted simultaneously without lag.
The router provides ways to block a specific PC to access to Internet or to a specific website using Client, Mac and/or URL filter features. It is simple and easy to deploy and also helps administrators to better manage network resources.
