This complete set transforms 5.1 or 7.1 surround speakers (such as the Theater 500) into complete plug-and-play systems. No other devices or cables are required. The unique combination of the DecoderStation 7 and AmpStation is the equivalent of a single high end A/V receiver.

<b>DecoderStation 7</b>
The DecoderStation 7 is the preamplifier. It converts incoming digital data from source devices (televisions, Blu-ray players, game consoles) into an analog signal which can then be passed on to the AmpStation.

Three HDMI inputs, an HDMI output, three digital inputs (2 x coax, 1 x optical) and three RCA inputs are located on the back of the DecoderStation 7 for connecting a variety of audio and video source devices.

The DecoderStation 7 supports 3D and includes decoders for DTS HD Master, Dolby True HD, DTS, Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic along with many other formats.

Connect the Decoder Station 7 preamp to the AmpStation via 7.1 analog output. Additional features such as a headphone connection, FM/AM radio with RDS function (Radio Data System), a remote, and easy-to-read, dimmable display as well as various setting options via the display’s user interface round out the system’s full feature set.

<b>AmpStation</b>
You don’t need a big, bulky amplifier to enjoy big, power performance. The new AmpStation is an 8 channel premium amplifier with ultra-compact dimensions that generates plenty of power for all Teufel speakers and speaker sets.

The AmpStation contains 8 individual 100 watt amplification modules in a small enclosure measuring just 270 x 65 x 250 mm for top performance along with easy room integration.

<b>800 watts of pure power</b>
The AmpStation functions as a pure performance amplifier capable of supplying up to 8 loudspeakers with a 100 watt power output (at 4 ohms) per channel – plenty of powerful for serious home cinema and stereo systems, even those in larger rooms using floor-standing speakers. The AmpStation reacts nimbly to quick level increases and delivers detailed, lively playback along with incredible warmth.

The AmpStation can also be used to drive a 5.1 setup in one room and pair of stereo speakers in another simultaneously.

<b>A first class digital amplifier</b>
State-of-the-art class D technology from Texas Instruments enables extremely high performance levels from such a small device. But the Teufel amplifier is more than just loud: The sound it produces is also very pure with low distortion levels of just 0.03% (THD+N > 1 Watt) and an excellent signal to noise ratio (-105 dB). The AmpStation’s frequency response extends linearly from 10 to 40,000 Hz for highly realistic, true-to-source playback.

<b>Quality build</b>
The aluminium front and massive gold-plated connection panel give aesthetic expression of the system’s impressive acoustic performance. The internal electronics rest on a vibration-reducing steel plate.

<b>Stylish & practical</b>
Our developers couldn’t resist endowing the system with a retro feature that adds a bit of style and fun to the system: Analog VU meters. Not only do the displays make it easy to read the levels from the various speakers, they look really cool.

The use of side-mounted heat sinks makes it possible to stack the AmpStation + DecoderStation 7 on top of each other, creating a sleek single unit.
