Swiss Men's Aviation Chronograph Black Dial Polyurethane Strap Watch Our T16 earned its worldwide popularity after in his interview to the Wall Street Journal, Richard Branson told the reporter he wears a model of this series since he thinks it is "pretty". Branson has bee seen wearing the T16 in many occasions since then.

This watch was designed in memory of R.J. Mitchell, designer of the legendary Supermarine Spitfire Fighter aircraft. Summed up in a word, Mitchell’s legacy is ‘simplicity’, or as he put it “if anybody ever tells you anything about an aeroplane which is so bloody complicated you can´t understand it, take it from me: it´s all balls.” (R.J. Mitchell). In his spirit, this watch is simple, straightforward and timeless. Loyal to all Torgoen watches signature, the T16 has a clean look dial, ergonomically designed for ease of read digits and markers that are clearly viewed even in the dark. The chronograph movement is made by ETA, a highly regarded Swiss movement manufacturer, able to measure times between two events with a resolution of 1/10 of a second and is also splits and laps two time measurements, and the counter measures time up to 30 minutes. Besides this great and well known movement, the T16 offers a high grade (316L) solid stainless steel case with a screw-down back, a super hardened (K1) mineral crystal, a double “O” ring crown that gives the T16 its water resistance protection up to 100 meters and black PU strap.

This dramatic timepiece is worthy of Mitchell’s memory.

The movement of the watch was made by ETA SA, which belongs to the SWATCH group – the largest watch company in world. The G10.211 is known for its robust accuracy, reliability and functionality. While some parts of the movement are made out of plastic, it is repairable and consists of mostly metal-made ones.
