Toshiba 200GB Serial ATA 200GB Serial ATA II internal hard drive

6.35 cm (2.5 ") , 200GB, SATA, 8MB Cache, 4200RPM Toshiba Storage Device Division introduces the 200GB 2.5-inch HDD, MK2035GSS. This drive is based on Perpendicular Magnetic Recording technology and has a capacity of 200 GB of data, the largest capacity of its class, using only 2 platters.

The MK2035GSS is currently the only 200 GB Hard Disk Drive available on the market with a height of only 9.5 mm. It weights only 98 grams and features lower power consumption compared to the traditional 3.5-inch HDDs.

The drive features the Tunneling Magneto Resistive (TMR) head technology, rather than Giant Magneto Resistive (GMT) head technology.
It also incorporates the Serial ATA II interface and is ATA-7 compliant, supporting high transfer rates of up to 150 magabytes per second.

The MK2035GSS drive offers enough capacity and features for portable recording and editing, gaming, music and other multimedia applications.
