Simply insert any manufacturers ATA / IDE 2.5" hard drive ( not supplied ) into the rugged aluminum case, and plug the Included USB cable into the a computer or hub USB port ( 2 ports required for data and power). At only 4.75"L x 3.25"W x 0.5"H, the U256-025 travels easily, and includes a protective travel bag. External drives are great for storing large files like photos, music, movies, etc. Compatible with Windows 98SE / Me / 2000 / XP / Vista / Win7 or MAC OS 9.0 and above. Supports USB 2.0 data transfer rates up to 480Mbps.
