12-48V 8 Port High Power POE 10/100BASET Switch The TP-SW8-NC Power Over Ethernet (PoE) 10/100Mb switch offered by Tycon Power Systems is a fully automatic high speed 8 port Ethernet switch with up to 45 Watts of passive PoE power per port. It does not have 802.3af detection for those applications where 802.3af is not required.

The unit supplies passive PoE power to the remote device on the unused Ethernet pins 4,5(V+) and 7,8(V-). The Ethernet spec supports distances up to 100m (328 feet) between the PoE switch and the remote device.

The switch accepts DC power from any power supply. The PoE output voltage equals the DC voltage of the power supply used from 12V to 48VDC. There are 2 power inputs for attachment of primary and secondary power sources .The switch also accepts passive PoE power via the uplink port.
