UniServer supports either dual or quad AMD Opteron™ processor for Socket F (1207). With its innovative direct access to the memory space and power now technology, AMD Opteron™ processor for Socket F (1207) offers the highest performance per watt. In addition to the industry’s fastest performing processor, UniServer incorporates up to 128GB of DDR2 system memory, doubling the conventional server platforms available in the market..
Processing and doubled memory space is coupled with long list of built-in features such as PCI-E and PCI-X add-on slots, RAID 0, 1, 1E for SATA II or SAS (both delivering 3.0Gbps), hot swap power supplies, fans, hard disk drives, and built-in service processor for IPMI 2.0 based in-band & out-of-band server management. .

From the design stage, UniServer was destined to be superior in its fit & finish and workmanship. Eight DDR2 DIMM sockets per CPU, gives UniServer users an easy upgrade path to higher memory capacity as performance demands increase. In addition, 4 way configurations support 2 way configuration thus allowing the user to upgrade to 4 way configuration at a later date. Up to 6 SATA II or SAS drives supports up to 3.0TB of raw storage capacity. 3 x PCI-E and 3 x PCI-X slots within a single 3U, 4 way, server is one of the highest density configuration in the market.
<b>Availability</b>
UniServer is equipped with many features to maximize its up-time. Hot swap HDD, PSU, and fans do not require system shutdown for replacement. Built-in RAID 0, 1, 0+1 on SATA II or SAS drives ensure continuous disk I/O. Dual Gigabit NIC ports on PCI-E bus can be aggregated for NIC fail-over and twice the throughput.
<b>Manageability</b>
Server Dome, Uniwide’s own IPMI 2.0 based server managed suite can manage single or multiple UniServers at remote sites. Dedicated BMC service processor built-into every UniServer allows in-band and out-of-band server control, including hard and soft server reset, power up and shutdown. Server Dome is a full-featured management suite, that is Java based, thus, it is host independent. Furthermore, it’s monitoring capabilities include temperature, fan, voltage and system health monitoring, OS level alerts and system monitoring, disk I/O, network I/O, memory usage, event logging, resource utilization… the list goes on and on.
