Urby TwoWay counts with a Panasonic Battery of either 4400 mAh or 5800 mAh. Its battery life depends on user weight and landscape usage - averaging 12-21km depending on the model.
The battery is charged within 4.30 hours (4.4 model) or 5.30 hours (5.8 model). The battery indicates its full charge with a green light appearing on the top part o the charger. 2 Driving Modes
The Urby TwoWay incorporates 2 driving modes:
1. Controlling the device with your knees: with this mode on, you will be able to control your Urby TwoWay hands-free. To turn, simpy orient your body and knees in the direciton you wish to go.
2. Manual control: You can use the handle to control your Urby TwoWay in the same way as a traditional Segway. In order to turn, simply move the handle in the direction you wish to go to. To go straight, simply lean forward. This position also allows you to incorporate your mobile phone into the handle, and thus enabling you to use it as a GPS
Bluetooth app
The Urby TwoWay comes equipped with a complementary mobile phone app that will allow you to:
- Check the battery charge
- Check the internal temperature of the vehicle
- Check your driving speed
- Allows you to turn front lights on/off
- Allows you to change the color of your rear lights
- Allows you to remote control your device
