Cover for iPhone 3GS Art Series - The Scream
The Scream is the famous painting of Edvard Munch. Painted in 1893 on cardboard with oil, tempera and pastel, as most of his works it has been made in various versions. The one in the National Gallery in Oslo is 91 x 73,5 cm. It is a symbol of anguish and confusion in the artist's life: the scene he painted represents a real experience he lived while pacing with a group of friends on a bridge in the city of Nordstrand (today a district of Oslo). His character is pervaded by terror.
