The Tangram, an ancient Chinese puzzle and one of the most popular dissection puzzles in the world, consists of 7 pieces - called tans - which are put together to form shapes. The objective of the puzzle is to form specific shapes using all 7 pieces (over 6,500 shapes can be formed, such as letters of the alphabet, numerals, geometric shapes and people). This dissection puzzle is a great way to teach children about transformation, conceptualizing, problem solving and creativity. These pieces are magnetic and come with a magnetic board.

<b>How to Play:</b>
- Teach basic colors and shapes with each piece.
- Start by putting two pieces together to form a different shape. Gradually increase number of pieces (i.e., complexity).
- When your child masters the concept, ask your child to always use all the seven pieces to form letters, numbers, or any other shape your child can think of.
