Vision TC2-HDMIAUD

HDMI, EDID, 0.16 kg, HDCP, 1080p@60Hz, 48 bit This product is two devices in one; it is a repeater that joins HDMI cables together and it also extracts stereo audio for professional AV applications. It suits any application where HDMI cables are used including corporate meeting rooms, home cinemas, classrooms, and churches.

<b>Audio De-embedder</b>
Extracts analogue audio signal from the HDMI signal passing through. Unlike other extractors which simply take the left and right channels of a 5.1 signal this product modifies the audio element of the EDID ensuring that the source device outputs a 2.0 signal. Note: this product does not down-mix.

<b>EDID library</b>
EDID is the handshake where the source device asks the display device what resolution to output. The library of sixteen files can be used to solve EDID and HDCP compatibility issues, and can also make switching faster.

<b>Repeater</b>
Featuring auto-adjustment of equalization, buffering and amplification of the HDMI signal this repeater also comes with an external power supply is included to maintain signal optimisation.

<b>Daisy-Chain</b>
Up to three of these repeaters can be used. Vision recommends cables no longer than 15 metres long, which means up to 4 x 15m cables can be joined to create one 60m (200 feet) long cable. 15m cables should be no thinner than 24 AWG. Vision offer a range of quality cables.

<b>HD</b>
Supports resolutions up to 1080p@60Hz, 48 bit. It supports 3D and is HDCP compliant.

<b>ESD Protection</b>
The HDMIAUD has an electrostatic discharge filter to protect itself and expensive source and display equipment.
