HDMI-over-IP, Receiver, 1920×1200, HDMI 1.3 w/ HDCP, 100m Max, PoE
Designed for video signage applications the Techconnect Matrix allows distribution of HDMI content over an existing managed LAN infrastructure. Because of this the cost of deployment is radically lower than bespoke AV distribution systems.
Matrix Modes
Supports point-to-point, point-to-multiple, and multiple-to-multiple matrixing.
MJPEG Compression
It converts the video into TCP/IP packets using proprietary MPEG compression. The audio and vision are compressed together ensuring no delay issues at the receiver which may lead to out-of-sync audio on a busy network.
3rd Generation Chipset
The latest generation processing chips offer smooth, latency-free transmission without using too much valuable bandwidth on a network. Techconnect Matrix is optimised to work on a Gigabit network. Bandwidth requirement is 150Mbps @1080p 60Hz (720p@60Hz: 41-67Mbps).
Scaleable
Whether you need a small system or a large system; just buy what you need. Transmitters and receivers are sold separately.
RS-232
Not only can it distribute video and audio; it can also RS-232 transmit 2-way control signal to the display devices.
Cascading Network Switches
The signal can be transmitted to any point on the LAN through any number of network switches. Or two devices can bypass the LAN and connect directly to each other. Note: used in this way the devices still need addressing during installation.
HDCP Compliant
Techconnect Matrix supports HDMI 1.3 with full HDCP compliance.
Power Over Ethernet
A power supply is included for each node, but the transmitters and receivers can also use standard Power Over Ethernet (PoE) to operate. Many network switches output PoE, or injectors can be fitted to a network to add PoE to a network.
Software Included
Vision include simple setup software to address the devices on a managed network and route content.
Control Interface
Vision offers a bridge device which connects to the same network as the transmitters and receivers and allows 3rd party control. Provides a built-in web server and Telnet API. Note: this product requires advanced networking and programming skills.
