Its robust solid aluminum material which enables excellent passive cooling stands out among all external enclosures/caddies on the market. There are six parts consisted from full aluminium which wrapped around the HDD safely like a tank. Therefore you could apply this HDD enclosure in many ways like private data storage, stackable to daisy-chain the HDDs so many you want, so easy as individual need by the transparant rubber pad. After assembly of a 3,5" SATA HDD, it will be connected eith via USB 2,0 to computer or via RJ-45 link to the computer ethernet network and worked as a network storage HDD. Time Synchronisation via Internet. Configuration is easy to be set up via Webinterface. Datamanagement and also password protection. Support also special signs like Ü,Ö... via SMB. Extra 4cm cooling fan for ensuring industral / business application, could be used also without fan for passive cooling. The heat are guided out via the side out standing cooling fins so it´s just quiet and ingenious with passive cooling and a front blue LED shines at the front between the front metal air holes.
