ToughTech introduces FlexMount Anti-Shock Protection. FlexMount is a shock absorber that mounts between the drive and the enclosure, reducing the amount of bumps and vibrations that make it to your hard drive.

FireWire Fast
FireWire data transfer speeds are up to 800Mbps (FireWire 800) or 400Mbps (FireWire 400) and USB data transfer speed of up to 480Mbps. For maximum performance, FireWire 800 is recommended.
