He earned degrees in music theory and computer science before gravitating toward the West coast. Having developed as a songwriter, music producer, and pianist, and inspired by mashups heard during a stay in London in the early 2000’s, he switched gears toward mashup creation, finding the format able to satisfy his hunger for various genres of music. His productions include wide-ranging genres such as electro, rock, 80’s,Top 40, and even country, blended together into a style that has earned him a global reputation. Most days, he can be heard blasting music out of an artist-filled Victorian mansion in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco or deejaying at wild parties and underground events.\n\n\n<b>Table of Contents</b>\n\n\nAcknowledgments.\n\nIntroduction.\n\nChapter 1: Booting Up.\n\nChapter 2: What Is Mashup?\n\nChapter 3: Mashup Checklist.\n\nChapter 4: How Music Works.\n\nChapter 5: Using the Software.\n\nChapter 6: Choosing Your Songs.\n\nChapter 7: Aligning the Tracks.\n\nChapter 8: Shifting the Pitch.\n\nChapter 9: Beyond the Beatmapper: Handling Uneven Tempos.\n\nChapter 10: Unmixing.\n\nChapter 11: Arrangement: Putting It All Together.\n\nChapter 12: Finishing Touches.\n\nChapter 13: Rendering.\n\nChapter 14: I Fought the Law and....\n\nChapter 15: Distribution.\n\nAppendix A: What’s on the CD-ROM?\n\nAppendix B: Online Resources.\n\nGlossary.\n\nIndex.
