34 EU, Cheney WMS, Polyamide/Polyester
When you are up on the mountain or on a long trekking trail and will be facing bad weather including rain or snow, make sure to have McKINLEY’s Cheney women’s jacket with you. Its two-layer construction offers AQUAMAX® elite, our high-performance waterproof and breathable membrane, and combines it with fully taped seams, waterproof YKK® zips, an integrated ventilation system, and a detachable hood. For a perfect fit, the bottom hem and cuffs are adjustable. The Cheney is the first choice for everyone looking for minimum weight and maximum protection – with a high degree of breathability to prevent overheating.
FULLY TAPED SEAMS
Every seam on the garment is covered by a special tape to ensure waterproofing. Taping seams does not only create an air and water-tight seal, but it also adds strength and longevity to the garment.
VISIBLE ZIPS WATERPROOF
All zippers exposed to the elements are waterproof, while zips on the inside of the garment, which are already protected by the waterproof fabric, are regular zippers without waterproof properties.
CHIN GUARD
The chin guard is a piece of fabric or fleece covering the top end of the zipper and offering protection at the chin against chafing when the zipper is pulled all the way up.
ZIP-OFF HOOD
Removable protective hood on a jacket, attached to the garment with a zipper.
ADJUSTABLE HEM
Drawcord system allowing the wearer to adapt the circumference of the hem around the waist
ADJUSTABLE CUFFS
Adjustment system at the wrists allowing the wearer to adapt the circumference of the cuffs of a jacket.
VENTILATION SYSTEM
Ventilation systems integrated into jacket or pants are an important option to support the airflow within any functional sports garment. They allow the user to evacuate hot air when needed to regulate the body climate.
