Another new technology featured in the YAS-81, Extended Stereo moves the stereo image further to the sides. With an 1.030mm (40-9/16") wide unit, it is as if you are listening from speakers that are 2 meters (2.19 ft) apart from each other. This means that the optimum sound field in front of the unit is much wider.
