The power behind the HB100 Infrared Stereo System is the IR transmitter. Designed with 120 LEDs, the IR transmitter transmits an invisible, cone-shaped audio signal throughout the room to the remote receivers, providing stereo sound to multiple headphones. Easily connected to your audio source through the RCA audio inputs, the transmitter covers up to 4000 square feet or 100 linear feet. For greater transmission coverage, additional transmitters can be easily connected through the 3.5mm input/output jacks.

A unique sensory circuit embedded in the IR transmitter automatically switches to "sleep mode" when no audio signal is present for more than 2 minutes, extending the lifetime of the LEDs. Sliding the ON/OFF switch to OFF will also conserve energy when the IR transmitter is easily accessible.

Consisting of a high power, infrared (IR) transmitter, power supply and wall/ceiling mounting bracket for easy installation, the HB100 can be customized with any number or type of headphones. Koss offers a variety of headphones with cordless convenience and excellent stereo sound reproduction.

Each battery-powered headset acts as a remote receiver, intercepting the audio transmission from the transmitter. Using a dynamic element, every headset delivers an extended frequency response, deep bass and treble clarity sound. When listening is difficult, a volume control on the earcup offers easy level adjustment.

The HB75 infrared stereophone provides supra-aural, foam ear cushions that rest on the ear for an open, hear-through sound. A convenient ON/OFF switch conserves energy by allowing the listener to connect and disconnect from the transmitter. Operating on two "AAA" batteries, the HB75 delivers approximately 30 hours of continuous stereophone use.
